Hate Crimes and Hate Incidents must be reported!
By reporting Hate Crimes and Incidents, you are protecting yourself and others. When Hate Crimes and Incidents are reported, law enforcement agencies have a record of it, which could lead to an arrest when there’s more information about this crime or incident. Also, if there are Hate Crimes and Incidents reported in a certain area, the police will assign more officers to that area.
Reporting Hate Crimes and Incidents to Law Enforcement
Any individual who’s in immediate danger, or has been a victim of a hate crime, or has witnessed a hate crime, should call 911. If not in immediate danger, call your local police department:
Gardena Police Department : 310-323-7911; Torrance Police Department: 310-618-5641

These Asian American organizations track and record hate crimes and hate incidents:
