2024 YEAR-END RAFFLE & DONATION APPEAL
In 2023, your support helped to defray our ongoing campus expenses of utilities, maintenance, and supplies which increased due to higher usage, and utility & vendor rate increases. It also helped to pay for building improvements, such as new ADA-compliant hardware for 14 doors around our campus, paint for the Bridge: JCI Heritage Center and eight classrooms, and the purchase of a new kitchen equipment. Each year, we experience an increase in the amount of major repairs, replacements, and expenses for our facilities and grounds that are almost 60 years old. In 2024, we are working on more major building improvements—solar panel project, security system upgrades, new fence, more interior painting, Nisei Veterans Memorial Hall new flooring, Main Hall kitchen upgrade. We ask for your help again with this 2024 Year-End Raffle & Donation Appeal!
HOW YOU CAN HELP: There are TWO ways that will help us tremendously.
1) Purchase GVJCI year-end raffle tickets. Ticket cost is $2.00 per ticket or $20.00 per book.
Enter for your chance to win one of five cash prizes of (2) $250, (2) $500, and $1,000! Raffle drawing will take place on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Participants need not be present to win! One prize per person. Please note - only adults (21+) can win.
RAFFLE TICKETS: If you're on our snail mailing list, tickets were mailed in October 2023. Additional raffle tickets can be mailed upon request, please leave a message at 310-324-6611, or you can email us at [email protected].
2) Donate an additional monetary gift, which is tax deductible as a Charitable Contribution. If you would like to see GVJCI continue serving the community of people young and old, please help us along this path by making an additional tax deductible gift of $100, $250, $500, $1,000 or more before December 31st.
