Boy Scout Troop 719 of Torrance, California is a backpacking and hiking troop. Our troop is part of the Pacifica District, Los Angeles Area Council, Western Region of Boy Scouts of America.
We are sponsored by Faith United Methodist Church (FUMC), 2115 W 182nd St, Torrance, CA 90504.
Our troop is ‘a hiking troop’… meaning that though we participate in other activities, the main emphasis of our program is hiking.
50 Years of Tradition
In 2006, Troop 719 celebrated its 50 Year Anniversary. As you check out our Golden Anniversary Booklet, may the many special memories bubble back to the surface so that you can again relive the many happy experiences that we have all had as members of the Family that we know as “719”.
