YUUJOU DAIKO

Yuujou Daiko - The meaning of Yuujou is friendship, which is indicative of the camaraderie and shared goals that formed this group in 2012.  Yuujou Daiko is dedicated to mastering the beautiful art of taiko and bringing the high energy & powerful sounds to communities throughout the greater Los Angeles area. The group has played at events including the Long Beach Aquarium, Temple City Camellia Festival, Chinese Firecracker Run, Clippers Half-time, Legoland, and more! Yuujou Daiko is currently based at the Japanese Cultural Institute in Gardena. ​

Basic Beginner/Beginner:   1:30 PM (Begins in January and July)
Intermediate:    2:30 PM
Advanced:    3:30 PM

*At least 3 sign-ups are needed for this class to take place. 

Renowned taiko group Yuujou Daiko will be holding classes at the Gardena Valley Japanese Cultural Institute for 8 weeks.
