Matsuri has always been a festive time where our member organizations and supporters get together to volunteer, enjoy food, entertainment, games, community and so much more, all while raising funds to support the GVJCI.

MANZANAR IMMERSIVE

Manzanar Immersive is a live "empathy" experience in which people collaborate to solve puzzles, complete activities, and interact with character actors as they proceed through the narrative of a Japanese American family living through the wartime experience

2023 IZAKAYA

Our 2nd Annual Signature Event: GVJCI Izakaya! A culinary event fundraiser featuring specialty small bites, beverages and live music, with  an izakaya vibe.

The event is our take on a happy hour. Come hang out and enjoy fresh, sustainable oysters, tasty local bites, and beer with live music, games and more, all while supporting the GVJCI!
