With the increasing number of COVID cases and more people gathering indoors for Fall & Winter holidays and events, we are strongly recommending masking for all of our GVJCI Senior Programs. Our members’ safety is our top priority. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
09/09/2022 GVJCI COVID-19 UPDATE
Thank you for all of your cooperation and support as we continue to navigate through this pandemic. LA County is now at a Low COVID-19 CDC Community Level, and GVJCI has made some adjustments to our requirements accordingly.
INDOOR MASKING GUIDELINES
It is strongly recommended, but no longer required. Indoor food and drink will resume for GVJCI
programs and events.

On 09/06/2022, LA County Department of Public Health’s press release stated: “As the COVID-19 virus continues to mutate, there is a very real possibility that new variants of concern could contribute to another surge in the fall or winter, making it important that Los Angeles County residents take steps to reduce the risk for serious illness by being up-to-date on vaccines, testing when symptomatic or exposed, and using therapeutics when appropriate. It is particularly critical for residents who are older, have underlying health conditions, or have many exposures at work and/or in the community to be fully vaccinated and boosted.”

コロナ‐19のウィルスは変異を続けており、秋から冬にかけて懸念される新たな変異型が再び急増する要因となる可能性が非常に高く、ロサンゼルス郡の住民は最新のワクチンを接種し、症状がある場合や濃厚接触した場合には検査を行い、必要に応じて治療薬を使用するなど、重症化リスクを減らす対策を取ることが重要です。
特に、高齢者、基礎疾患を持つ人、職場や地域社会で多くの接触を受ける人はワクチン接種とブーストを行うことが重要です。
