The Gardena Valley Japanese Cultural Institute (GVJCI) is preparing its 16th annual edition of the GVJCI Calendar for 2017. The Calendar is enjoyed by the community, and is a wonderful collage of photo memorabilia featuring the many faces of GVJCI participants and supporters. It also showcases the variety of GVJCI programs and services, as well as, organizations and groups holding activities here. The Calendar is an effective advertisement opportunity for businesses, as well as a way in which organizations and individuals can lend their support through well-wishers’ message displays. 3,000 calendars are mailed to our donors, and advertisers, and widely distributed to all of our GVJCI participants and our affiliated organizations’ members.
We hope for your participation in our 2017 edition. The support of the calendar through advertisements and donations allows the GVJCI to continue our services and programs serving the needs of the Japanese American community of the South Bay area, as well as the community at large, through educational, cultural, and social programs sharing the Japanese and Japanese American cultural heritage. Our facilities are well utilized by many community organizations for classes, meeting spaces, and fundraising events.
