Breakdancing, also
known as "B-boying" or "B-girling" by its practitioners and followers,
is a dynamic style of dance that is part of the hip hop culture. This
unique form of dancing is very acrobatic and creative. Students learn
the basics of Breakdancing. B-boying/B-girling is an athletic dance
form which uses the whole body. Students learn the history and origins
of breaking, technique, toprocks, footwork, transitions, freezes, and
most importantly, how to rock a beat. Also it works on bottom rock,
techs and power moves. The movements and weight changes are often
supported by the arms.
